About Commercial Snow Plowing
Introduction
When the fierce winter hits Chesterfield Shores, it undeniably brings an enchanting beauty blanketing the city. However, for commercial property owners, this beauty comes with an intrusive inconvenience – snow. Business operations can be majorly disrupted, and the premises, if not correctly maintained, can pose significant hazards. Enter commercial snow plowing, a critical service providing safe and accessible environments, enabling businesses to continue thriving even amid heavy snowfall. This guide aims to inform and guide you through the benefits, the process, and the real-world applications of commercial snow plowing in Chesterfield Shores.
The Importance of Commercial Snow Plowing
Regular snow plowing at commercial properties, such as office buildings, shopping centers, and eateries, is crucial in maintaining regular business operations during the snowy months. Ensuring that parking lots, walkways, and entrances are snow-free creates a safe environment for visitors and employees alike, reducing injury risks from slips and falls.
Moreover, insurance companies often require businesses to provide snow removal services, indicating that commercial property snow plowing isn’t just a matter of convenience but a legal requirement. Consequently, professional snow plowing companies like D&J Contracting increasingly play a pivotal role in Chesterfield Shores’ commercial landscape, especially during the winter.
Commercial Snow Plowing Process
The process of commercial snow plowing involves several stages, including preventive and reactive measures. Preventively, professionals from D&J Contracting conduct an onsite evaluation of the commercial property before the snow season commences. They analyze the property layout, identify key traffic areas, drainage spots, and potential hazards hidden under the snow.
Following a heavy snowfall, the plowing process kicks into action. Using state-of-the-art equipment, crews work around the clock to clear the snow. They prioritize major entrances, fire hydrants, and emergency exits in-line with city regulations. Concerning commercial parking lot snow plowing, they strategize the snow piling location to ensure visibility and safety while maximizing available parking spaces. After plowing, de-icing or sanding may be done to increase friction and decrease ice formation, ensuring maximum safety.
Real-World Applications in Chesterfield Shores
The application of commercial snow plowing services isn’t limited to specific businesses. For instance, shopping complexes in Chesterfield Shores heavily rely on snow plowing services. A snow-free parking lot and clear walkways not only foster a secure environment for shoppers but also maintain an accessible and attractive shopping experience. This enables businesses to continue operating, even during peak winter.
Similarly, large scale establishments like warehouses and industrial units require regular industrial snow plowing services. A snow-clogged loading area can trigger operational delays, financial losses, and pose risks to the staff. However, with regular plowing, these commercial areas can remain productive, providing essential services without winter interruption.

About Chesterfield Shores, Michigan
Chesterfield Township was originally established as a general law township in 1842. It became a charter township in 1989.
The original European-American settlement in the area was a hamlet called Chesterfield, first settled in 1830. When the Grand Trunk Railway came through in 1865, it stimulated the development of businesses in the hamlet. It had a post office from 1875 until 1907, but has since lost its specific identity.
Chesterfield Township is in eastern Macomb County and is bordered on the north by Lenox Township and the village of New Haven; on the east by Ira Township in St. Clair County, and by the village of New Baltimore; on the southeast by Anchor Bay, which is a part of Lake St. Clair; on the south by Harrison Township; and on the west by Macomb Township.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 30.6 square miles (79 km), of which 27.6 square miles (71 km) are land and 3.0 square miles (7.8 km), or 9.85%, are water.
Much of Chesterfield Township is dominated by suburban subdivisions and shopping developments; its population is increasingly diverse, reflecting area demographic changes. In 2010 some 89% of the population identified as non-Hispanic whites; in the late 20th century, the largely rural township had an even higher percentage of whites. Anchor Bay influences the southeastern part of the community, where many pleasure boats, docks, and marine-related businesses can be found.
There are nine unincorporated communities in the township and no incorporated villages:

This office operated until July 1904. Milton was home to a school, three churches, a doctor, a blacksmith, and a couple of saloons.
