Operational Log // Material Verification

REF: FTB-FRM-OH

01

1.5" Milling & Sweeping

Milled existing parking surface to a 1.5" depth, followed by power sweeping to clear fine debris before off-site recycling.

02

Full-Depth Excavation & ADA Pads

Excavated compromised base zones and prepared concrete pad subgrades calibrated to under 2% slope in all directions for ADA compliance.

03

Catch Basin Apron Rebuild

Rehabilitated catch basin frames and covers, replaced deteriorated manhole blocks, and reset structures to precise flush elevations.

04

SS-1 Tack & 5E1 Wearing Course

Sprayed uniform SS-1 tack coat and installed 1.5" 5E1 asphalt topcoat, compacted for exceptional surface density and durability.

05

Reinforced Concrete & Striping

Poured reinforced concrete with tooled joints and saw cuts, followed by full ADA stall striping, directional arrows, and stall numbering.

Phase 4

ADA Pads & Striping

Poured <2% slope concrete pads, installed ADA signage and stall striping.

Operational Flow

Phased Execution Plan

Precision phasing allowed bank operations and drive-thru teller lanes to remain fully active while heavy cold milling and paving machinery completed full-depth restorations.

01

Preparation & 1.5" Milling

The entire parking lot underwent comprehensive cold milling to a precise depth of 1.5 inches. High-capacity power sweepers immediately cleared all aggregate dust and milled material, which was hauled off-site to a licensed recycling facility.

02

Asphalt & Concrete Removal / Subgrade Prep

Excavated failing asphalt down to the stone base in targeted stress areas for full-depth base stabilization. Subgrades for designated ADA parking pads were graded to ensure strict compliance with federal ADA guidelines requiring less than a 2% slope in all directions.

03

Drainage & Catch Basin Infrastructure Rehab

Preserved and cleaned heavy iron casting frames and storm grates. Rebuilt crumbling internal brick and manhole block courses, mortared all joints watertight, and reset castings to finished pavement elevation with reinforced concrete collars.

04

Reinforced Concrete Pouring & Finishing

Poured commercial-grade concrete reinforced with welded wire mesh. Formed tooled expansion joints and early-entry saw cuts in accordance with engineering standards to prevent cracking and guarantee long-term freeze-thaw durability.

05

SS-1 Tack Coating, 5E1 Paving & Precision Striping

Applied SS-1 emulsion bonding tack across the milled surface, followed by 1.5 inches of high-density 5E1 asphalt mix compacted with multi-ton tandem vibratory rollers. Applied crisp traffic-rated paint for ADA stalls, handicap symbols, and parking lines.
